The Short Stories Of Liam O'flaherty

The Short Stories Of Liam O'flaherty - Liam O'Flaherty Am in wrong state of mind for some of the stories, but only for the moment. Several of the stories have the ocean waves as a main character, which resonates quite well in the mid-sized holiday spot I'm visiting. The story of fishermen nearly drowning in their curraghs could have been my grandfather. The story of a fatally indecisive pauper could have been me. But the pace is too comfortable just before making a trip. Short pieces, but sometimes mundane details, overwrought, a bit like the small town director of Hot Fuzz and fast cuts of paperwork.
