My periodic updates are very complementary. It doesn't reflect the agony of trying to finish it. The last 10 pages contain another bushel of excellent ideas, but I wish Mr. Pratchett had made this one a lot shorter, or possibly written his best material in essay form. I still expect to read my target Terry Pratchett, Mort, which should prove an even better version of Anthony's On a Pale Horse. Predictably, Mort allowed Mr. Pratchett to retire from his day job.
