Makes his French colleagues sound simultaneously unmotivated and immoral, but the book is mostly about his cavalier self, I mean his main character. Ok, he's sometimes serious about building tea cafes in Paris, but the main character seems to be altogether in his moral element among the French, which is probably why there are at least 2 more books in the series.
Am looking at book two in this hotel bookshelf, wondering if life is just too short.
